Our Story
Ararat Concrete is a family-owned business based in Ararat, Western Victoria, and has been supplying and servicing the community since 1976. We're still proudly operating from our original location on Truscott Street.
The journey started with Alan and Judith Woods, and now, with 50 years in the business, we're nearing our third generation of leadership. Ricky, their son, has over 40 years of experience in the industry and plays a key role in the company. His wife, Casanda, manages all the administrative work, while their four children (DJ, Jezza, Sabaya & Nevani) are actively involved in the business—continuing the family legacy.
It’s this close-knit, experienced team that allows us to provide you with all the services and supplies you need.
Ararat Concrete prides itself by employing locals. Over 50 years there have been many employees come and go; many have stayed until their retirement. All employees have always upheld the quality of work that Ararat Concrete stands for.
